C.W. Eldridge of the Tattoo Archive in Winston Salem, NC will be presenting a talk entitled “Historical Shop Fronts”. This talk will include images of tattoo shop fronts of the past and the tattooists associated with them.

Over 250 world-renowned tattoo artists will gather downtown Montreal on September 13-14-15 2019, as part of the 17th edition of Art Tattoo Montreal.
Open to the public, the event will allow fans to meet the most talented tattooo artists from America, Asia and Europe.
You can also take this opportunity to add some pieces to your collection of tattoos: the artists will be available to tattoo on spot.
More then 100,000 people crossed the doors of the convention over the past decades.
As for the merely curious, they can enjoy the event to discover the art of tattooing and become familiar with everything that goes with it. Tattoo competitions and art exhibitions are scheduled over the 3 day weekend.
Vendors booth with jewelry,books and clothing will surely make those searching for the perfect tattoo related item happy.
How I can get tattooed on the spot?
It is best to contact the artists directly if you have a specific project or artist in mind.
However, it is not necessary to have an appointment during the weekend, the majority of artists will take walk ups without an appointment.
There will be many flashs drawings to choose from but do not hesitate to bring your ideas.
More than 200 artists will be there, you will undoubtedly find the one that suits you.
Tickets are available AT THE DOOR during the weekend.

Plus de 250 artistes tatoueurs de renommée internationale seront réunis au centre-ville de Montréal à la GARE WINDSOR les 13-14-15 septembre 2019 dans le cadre de la 17 ième édition du Art Tattoo Montréal.
Ouvert au public, l’évènement permettra aux adeptes de tatouage de rencontrer les artistes les plus talentueux d’Amérique, d’Asie et d’Europe. Ils pourront également profiter de l’occasion pour ajouter quelques pièces à leur collection de tatouages : les artistes seront disponibles pour tatouer sur place.Depuis ses débuts en 2003,plus de 100 000 personnes ont franchi les portes du festival international de tatouage de Montréal.
Quant aux simples curieux, ils pourront profiter de l’évènement pour découvrir l’art du tatouage et se familiariser avec tout ce qui s’y rattache. Compétitions de tatouages et expositions artistiques seront au programme.
Les nombreux kiosques de bijoux,vêtements,livres et accessoires permettront aux gens de trouver des articles originaux de style tatouage.
Comment je peux me faire tatouer sur place?
Il est préférable de contacter les artistes directement si vous avez un projet ou un artiste spécifique en tête.
ll n'est toutefois pas nécessaire d'avoir un rendez-vous durant le weekend,la majorité des artistes ne font que des pièces sans rendez-vous.
Il y aura beaucoup de flashs(dessins) à choisir sur place mais n'hésitez pas à amener vos idées.
Plus de 200 artistes seront sur présents,vous y trouverez sans aucun doute celui qui vous convient.
